Is he really stupid to get a guy in a teddy bear as a gift?

I have not seen my friend Guy Christmas is so we share gifts tomorrow. I had no money and no idea what to do, so I'm giving him a bear and a cute little chocolate. Is it really weird to find a bear? (Oh and that I think made me a necklace or something)

I had my boyfriend a teddy bear and he still has. I think it means it was not weird just try not to give in front of his friends because they might think it's weird and make fun of him.
