Brooklyn Chocolate Room

Godiva Valentine's Day Gift?
Hello ok. I'm buying Godiva chocolate for my girlfriend. I live in Brooklyn, but because Buffalo dormitory university. Wondered how could I treat the chocolate? held at room temperature? put in the fridge? blend? more expensive. Godiva is all good. I intend to give him a nice box of it with a rose.
I got my boyfriend Godiva chocolate for a party Valentine's gift. It is VERY good chocolate, and I think it's worth the high price. Keep at room temperature. That's how it is kept in store. The only way it will melt is whether the ambient temperature is 75 degrees or more.

Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center, (MN) $14.34 Just north of Minneapolis and along the Mississippi River stretch the fertile prairies that attracted French Canadians and New Englanders in 1852. Originally called Brooklyn Township, Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center grew as settlers cultivated farms and marketed their produce. One-room schoolhouses evolved into the largest and finest schools in Minnesota while fast-growing industry and commuting replaced the small family farms. The story of Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center, as told through pictures, old-timer memories, and yellowed newspapers, reveals the lives of loggers, potato farmers, war heroes, and everyday people who found their dreams and quietly raised their families. Over the years, neighborhoods and fashions change as the people continue to take pride in their community''s rich history. |

Summer in Brooklyn $10.85 Richard Grayson was born in Brooklyn and grew up there. He began keeping a daily diary in August 1969, as he was about to enter Brooklyn College. His 1979 first book of short stories, WITH HITLER IN NEW YORK, was called really funny by Liz Smith in the Daily News and where avant-garde fiction goes when it becomes stand-up comedy by Rolling Stone. Here are entries from his summer diaries from age 18 to 24. Richard Grayson started writing regularly at 18. He had just spent a year in his room, scared to come out. Grayson didn''t know it then, but he was suffering from agoraphobia, a nervous breakdown of some sort. When he reappeared in the spring of 1969, everything seemed fresh. It was a classic case of being rehatched. - The Miami Herald |

Brooklyn Lobster $8.99 Frank Giorgio's once orderly life has been thrown into chaos since the bank that loaned him money for a restaurant addition to his lobster business has folded. With the threat of a public auction looming, the very proud and stubborn Frank, played by Danny Aiello (Moonstruck, Do the Right Thing), his family and eccentric crew attempt to save the Brooklyn lobster shop that is the cornerstone of their identity.Frank's son Michael (Daniel Sauli, The Pink Panther, Boiler Room), who has chosen a much different life for himself in the tech world of Seattle, and his girl friend Kerry (Heather Burns, Bewitched, Miss Congeniality 2) return home for Christmas and, for better or worse, are dragged into the family drama that unfolds. Michael s childhood home has been sold, and his mother Maureen (Jane Curtin, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Saturday Night Live) is separating from Frank. Over the course of two extraordinary weeks, he finds himself sleeping on a pull-out couch with his dad, catching wandering lobster crates in the bay and trying to mend his relationship with Kerry in a gaudy Russian motel. While Michael joins the sometimes humorous Lobster Farm rescue efforts, Maureen is trying to keep her distance, staying with her daughter Lauren (Marisa Ryan, Riding in Cars with Boys), son-in-law Just in (Ian Kahn, Dawson's Creek) and baby granddaughter as she looks for a place to live and establish her own identity-apart from the lobster business that has consumed her life, her house and her husband. Lauren, who has stood by her father working at the Lobster Farm, strives to keep the lines of communication open while the family struggles to hold it together despite the imminent threat to their business. This sincere, down-to-earth drama explores the complexities and inherent comedy of family dynamics. As the final auction approaches, Frank and Michael are forced to look within themselves and the heritage that has shaped them both. For Michael, that means acknowledging the traits he shares with his father and not al lowing himself to repeat the same mistakes. For Frank, it's a matter of letting go and opening himself up to the family and friends who might just provide the lifeline he so desperately needs.System Requirements:Run Time: 90 minsFormat: DVD MOVIE |

Texas Brooklyn and Heaven - FS $2.83 Eddie Tayloe, an aspiring playwright, has hit the open road to hunt down fame and fortune. Perry Dunklin is a restless girl hitch-hiking her way to Alabama. The two quickly become traveling companions. Lovestruck, Tayloe convinces the free spirited Perry to continue on with him to New York, but she balks at any prospect of turning their friendship into something more. To prove her point, she moves to Brooklyn, away from Eddie's Manhattan hotel room. Eddie soon finds himself spending much of his time keeping Perry out of trouble, and, with the help of a matronly pickpocket and an ingenious bartender, does his best to win her over. A whimsical romantic comedy, Texas, Brooklyn, and Heaven stars Guy Madison, who would make his biggest mark on the small screen, playing the title role in 'The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickock.' Opposite Madison are a host of well-known character actors, including Lionel Stander, 'Wicked Witch of the West' Margaret Hamilton, and Irene Ryan - better known as 'Granny' of 'The Beverly Hillbillies.' Texas, Brooklyn and Heaven was directed by future 'Horror Meister' William Castle, who is best known for a string of gimmick-oriented classics such as The House on Haunted Hill (1959), The Tingler (1959), Mr. Sardonicus (1961), and for producing Rosemary's Baby (1968).
