what kind of cake should i bake?

im in the mood to bake cake. i dont want to use the box stuff. i want a delicious cake made fom scratch. anyone have any recipes? preferably chocolate? with a swirl of something in it. also frosting recipes as well. thanks!!!! please help my sweet tooth craving LOL

ok. well i love making cake too but i am not a fan of the normal box stuff so this is what i make. Chocolate!!!!! this cake is small. i mean not to small. feeds four. but it is not a full size cake. it is nice for ppl who dont like to keep alot of extras. i just made it like an hour ago 2!!! lol

Stuff u will need:
- 4 tbsp of flour
- 4 tbsp of sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 3 tbsp of chocolate chips
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp of milk
- 3 tbsp of veggie oil
- splash of vanilla extract
- one large coffee mug. (u will use this 2 cook in)

This is what u do:

add dry ingredients to mug and mix well
add egg and mix!
pour milk and oil mix well
add chocolate and vanilla, mix
put in microwave for 3 min. on 1000 watts.
allow to cool

It will cook perfectly. and with the smaller container, it is perfect for nice cake. if you like the cake more moist, cut off 15-30 seconds.
