I absolutely love "Chocolate Mint flavors' that time of year. Does anyone have any good recipes? It may be Mint Chocolate ~ cookies, cakes, pies, drinks (non alcoholic please) Thanks so much! =)
Mint Chocolate Fudge SUBMITTED BY: Susan Photo By: pandaprissy "If you love chocolate and mint together and want some thing to satisfy your sweet tooth, this fudge coating will do! White Confectioners' can be found in candy stores in supply, or it may called Almond Bark. "Preparation time 10 Min COOK TIME 15 Min ready in 45 minutes Servings & SCALING Original recipe yield: 1 3 / 4 pound U.S. METRIC About scaling and conversions INGREDIENTS 2 cups chocolate chips semisweet 1 (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk, divided 2 c. Tea vanilla extract 1 cup white confectioners coating '1 table peppermint extract 1 drop green food coloring (optional) Preparation Line a square 8 or 9 inch pan with waxed paper. In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips with 1 cup sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Spread half of mixture into prepared pan; cooling to 10 minutes or until firm. Reserve mixture remaining chocolate at room temperature. In another heavy saucepan over low heat, melt white confectioners coating and other sweetened condensed milk (Mixture will be thick.) Stir in peppermint extract and food coloring. Spread this mixture over the chilled chocolate layer; Chill 10 minutes, or until firm. Spread reserved chocolate mixture on mint layer, chill 2 hours or until firm.
