Lindt chocolate GMO...?
Here's an excerpt from their FAQs page:
"Does Lindt use GMO products in their chocolate?
Traditionally, our sugar has come from both beet and cane sugar sources. However, because Lindt USA is a division of Lindt & Sprungli, a Swiss company, we must adhere to Swiss standards regarding GMO products and will no longer be using beet sugar as of 2008."
What does mean? Are their 70% cocoa bars non-GM (ingredients: "Chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla-a natural flavor...May contain traces of peanuts, soybean, nuts and milk")?

If you don't know, just say so... You can answer anyway for 2 points. ^^
Yes; I understand that they mean they are removing the potential source of GM material from their product. The manufacture & sale of GM foods is banned in Switzerland unlike in the US, so as a Swiss owned company they would have an interest in doing this.
Then again; I don't think I'd be so confident in Nestlé, another Swiss company not to use GM products in local markets... so perhaps I can't say for certain either.
