I NEED HELP WITH A CHRISTMAS COOKIE RECIPE! 10 POINTS?

okay , i am giving my frinds a big coffee mug with a big hot chocolate mix with a small ornament with their name on it. so the theme is like hot chocolate. i need some cookie recipes with hot chocolate in them. or things that go good with hot chocolate like marshmallow cookies. also have you heard of mocha crinkle cookies? can you substitute the coffee for hot cocoa? thanks!

There aren't alot of hot cocoa cookies out there since hot cocoa is pretty much heated up chocolate flavored milk - so a hot cocoa cookie would be a chocolate flavored cookie. You could make chocolate crinkles. Here's a recipe:

When I think of cookies to serve with hot cocoa, I think of cookies that absorb the cocoa when dunked in it or taste yummy if sipped while still chewing the cookie. I personally think shortbread would be outstanding with hot cocoa. Here's a recipe for that:

Finally, sometimes simple is good as well. You could make homemade stirrers for the hot cocoa using those pirouette cookies dipped in your choice of melted chocolate and then rolled in crushed peppermint candy or festive sprinkles. You could also use cinnamon sticks. Cinnamon goes great with hot cocoa. Or - if you really want it to be completely home made, they have a recipe for lollipops that are meant to be used as a stirrer in coffees and cocoas to give it flavor. Here it is:
