How To Make Your Own Chocolate Fondue

When it comes to fondue house, all you really need is a few supplies. You will need from recipe ingredients, food dippers, dipping forks, and a hot pot.

What is fondue? According to Wikipedia, "It is a common dish Switzerland shared the table in an earthenware pot over a small burner. Diners use forks to dip bits of food in the warm semi-liquid sauce.

Suggested Dippers

Many foods are appropriate and interesting dippers. Cut dippers into small size pieces. A general approach is to allow for 10-12 pieces per serving.

Pretzel Rods
Apple Wedges
Bananas
Pineapple chunks
Strawberries
Melons
Pears
Pound Cake
Marshmallows
Cookies
Crackers

Easy Chocolate

8 squares (8 ounces) semisweet chocolate
1 (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 / 3 cup milk

In a saucepan, melt chocolate over low heat. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and regular milk and mix well. Heat through. Transfer to a pot over burner. (If mixture becomes to thick, stir in a little milk). Spear dippers your desired with a fork dipped in chocolate.

Chocolate Peanut Butter

3 1 / 2 ounces Unsweetened Baking Chocolate
1 1 / 2 c. sweetened condensed milk
1 / 4 cup marshmallow creme
1 tsp tablespoons milk
1 1 / 2 c. Tea Vanilla
1 tsp soup. butter Creamy peanut

Combine baking chocolate and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan or in top of double boiler. Stir constantly low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in marshmallow cream and milk. Just before serving, add the vanilla and if desired, peanut butter. Transfer to a fondue pot. Serve hot with your choice of dippers.

Safety Tips Always operate the unit on a level, stable table or other flat surface. Keep away from children. Before use, always make sure handle is firmly attached and that Pot fits securely on its stand.
