What's it like living with a peanut allergic child in western Australia?
We are thinking of emmigrating to Perth with our 6 year old nut allergic son. When we came over on holiday we only found one box of cereal that hadn't been made on a production line with nuts! I couldn't find one bar of cooking chocolate. There are lots of safe food here in the uk but it appears harder to get food that is safe in perth. How do you cope with getting nut free food in Aus? Greatful for any feedback. Thanks!

Stick with a company you know and don't buy things at the grocery that he hasn't eaten before. My niece has a nut allergy. You may have to order things online. You can ask the grocer if they can order a specific nut-free brand for you. It's worth a try if you don't want to buy everything online. Good luck.
