Can I substitute chocolate for cocoa powder in chocolate?

I do not have any cocoa, not to mention, I have an overabundance delicious Godiva chocolate (ie as bar) that I can not eat because I'm on a diet. I want to cook a certain way so that I can donate again reported bakery products ... lol I thought that, if anything, it would make them more moist from melted chocolate is an ingredient in moist by opposed to cocoa powder is naturally dry.
