Recipe For Amazing Chocolate Chip Cookies?

For Christmas I'll cook a GROUP chip cookies and chocolate to give as presents, but I need a recipie for cookies with chocolate chips that will wow people when they eat. So I thought using red and green M & M's instead of chocolate chips to make cookies more festive. I need the recipie ASAP. Please help me !!!!! Thank you =]

& M'S ® cookies 1 (15 ounces) M & M'S ® Candy Plain or peanut 1 tbsp butter 3 / 4 c. granulated sugar 3 / 4 c. Brown sugar 2 eggs 1 c. Tea. vanilla 2 1 / 2 c. flour 1 / 2 tsp Tea. soda 1 / 2 tsp Tea. salt 1 c. chopped walnuts (optional) Coarsely chop 1 1 / 2 cup candies; remaining reserve for garnish. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir eggs and vanilla. Add flour, soda and salt and mix well. Stir in candies, chopped nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on a cookie sheet greased. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes. Remove from oven. Immediately press on candy 3 reserved the top of each cookie. Makes about 5 dozen.
