Chocolate Wine Pairing
Good Wine/Champagne that will compliment a basket of sweets?
I am putting together Gift baskets for the holidays and they are going to include Chocolate dipped strawberries (white dark & milk), caramel apples (different topping i.e. nuts & chocolate drizzles), chocolate dipped oreos half white and half milk chocolate, ferrero rocher chocolates, and sees hard candies & toffees.
These are for the adult members & couples in my family. Anyone know of a good Wine/Champagne that will pair well with this basket? Thank you! Your help is much appreciated! :]
Depends on how much you want to spend. If your looking for a great inexpensive but great sparkling pinot grigio try Voga, it comes in a really cool bottle too. If your looking for something more on the high end try Mumm, White Star or Piper Heidseik
