Chocolate Souffle Recipe

Chocolate Souffle Recipe
Is it possible to make at least a version of chocolate souffle in microwave? Could someone give me a recipe?

As a former chef it would not be any diferent that if you were to make it in a regular oven for the recipe, however the rise from the heat and eggwhites would not be there.

Microwaves heat from the inside out, and thus is would rise but not puff up, it would be more like a muffin than souffle.

As for a recipe for 2 I would spearte 4 eggs, save the whites for the meriange, then take 2/3 cup of milk, 1/2 sugar and warm it in a pot or in the microwave, then mix the egg yolok with a tablespoon plus a teaspoon of flour, mix a bit of the hot milk in then add to the other and cook on the stove until thickened or pluse it in the microwave for 30 seconds, stirring after each time until thick, for the chocolate I use some dark and milk, but you can add some unsweetened cocoa to the egg and flour mix to, stir in the melted chocolate, you can chop it with a knife into small piece or grate it on a grater and add it to the hot egg base, let this cool for 5-10 minutes, in that time whip the egg whites to a froth adding 2 teaspoons of sugar while beating, fold in the egg white to the other mix, I would butter and sprinkle a bit of sugar in your cooking dishes, if your doing a large one a microwave glass cassarole is fine, but you can do individual ones with a some ramekins or ovenproof dishes.

Cook them in th microwave for 8 minutes on 90% and 3-5 more at 100% this is for small one it could take 10 @ 90 and another 10@100 for the largest one, serve immediatley but watch the center will be hot.

Comfort Food Fast: Easy and Elegant Food That Soothes the Soul

Comfort Food Fast: Easy and Elegant Food That Soothes the Soul

$3.05

In Provence, where Anne Gardon grew up, comfort food means hearty dishes, thick, chunky soups and stews and old-fashioned desserts. For most of us, it also means those tastes we crave when we need a little creature comfort, the best-loved dishes of our childhood, the familiar flavors and smells that conjure up warm memories and good times. Gardon is a strong believer that comfort also means not being a slave to the stove while friends are relaxing in the dining room.In Comfort Food Fast, rather than feature recipes for an unpredictable souffle or a treacherous hollandaise sauce, Gardon includes recipes for one-pot meals which can be served informally at the table, where family and friends can relax and enjoy the comfortable ambience that comes from a simple and tasty meal. Main-course dishes such as Cannelloni With Ricotta and Summer Savory Filling, Pasta Timbale, Roast Chicken With Herb and Cheese Stuffing, Chicken Cacciatore, Pork Tenderloin Stuffed With Apples, Lamb Stew (Moroccan-Style) and desserts like Apple Bread Pudding, Viennese Shortbread, Iced Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate and Raspberry Clafoutis are guaranteed to satisfy our deepest cravings.Gardon's personal recipe for happiness at the table is what she calls C.H.E.F.s Cuisine: Cheap, Healthy, Easy and Fun. Her goal here is to teach us how to get the most out of the best ingredients plus how to put some away for a rainy (or snowy) day. She counsels preparing favorite comfort foods in volume and provides advice on portioning and freezing for those times when creating even a simple dinner can pose a challenge. And what could be more comforting at the end of a long, hard day than to know that somethingdelicious and soul-soothing is already prepared, just waiting to be eaten?Gardon's latest cookbook is illustrated throughout with the author's own sumptuous full-color photographs.
