Where should I take her to eat?

So I'm 14, and my mother and I are taking my voice teacher out to dinner because she's a really great person, and has been a great voice teacher blah blah blah. I'm really close to my voice teacher. She's Russian and in her early 40's. She has kids in their late teens, early 20's and a husband, but I don't think they're coming. I'm going to call her later today and ask what kind of food she likes, but until then, this is the best place for advice I can ask for. So what do you think? I've never really seen her eat much or anything. Before a lesson once, she was eating a salad. She likes chocolate (who doesn't), and once we ran into her and her family at an Italian restaurant. So, any ideas? There is a Russian restaurant in Chicago (Where I live) but it's in downtown which has difficult parking, and I don't know if we'll offend her by taking her to a Russian place. (We're East Indian)

Any ideas????

Chicago has A LOT of diverse restaurants.

Thanks a ton!!!
