Belgian Chocolates

What's that you ask? Isn't that meant to be chocolate *mud* pudding? Who wants to eat a mug? Well, you've missed the point, but also landed right on it.

It's a chocolate mud pudding. Only in a mug. Pun haters rain down on me, it wasn't my decision to name it that. But despite its somewhat un-funny name, it is really nice. And it only takes five minutes to make and cook. Yes, only five minutes.

You will need:

4 Tablespoons of Cocoa
4 Tablespoons of Self-Rising Flour
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence (though paste works fine too)
4 Tablespoons of Sugar
4-6 Tablespoons of Milk
3 Tablespoons of Vegetable Oil
3 Tablespoons of Chocolate Chips (optional)
1 Large Mug

You will do:

Mix all the dry stuff together in the mug. Don't bother with fancy stuff like sifting. Once the dry stuff seems to be mixed, add the egg and mix that. Then add everything else, and mix it together. Add less or more milk depending on how thick the mixture is. It should be able to run off the mixing implement, but not like liquid. Think of thick custard. Add chocolate chips if desired, but they do make it rather sticky and probably a little too rich for you.

The mixture should fill the mug about 3/4 of the way. Mine did, and I ended with no mess.

Put the mug into the microwave on high for three minutes. The pudding with rise out of the mug, but it probably won't spill over the edges.

Take the mug out of the microwave (Handle With Care), and top with cream, or dig a hole and add ice cream.

Eat. This might be too much chocolate for you, so maybe you should share it with a special someone. Or the cat.

BlackPawn says: It's interesting because with lactose free milk...this becomes a lactose free chocolate pudding, which is somewhat unusual.

2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons sugar or Equal sugar substitute
3/4 cup non-fat soymilk or skim milk
1 dash vanilla essence
Directions
1In a large mug, dissolve cornflour, sugar and cocoa in the milk.
2Microwave on high for 90 seconds
