What color would go well with my hair for highlights?

Hey! I am a guy who has chocolate-colored hair. Plans to do both different colors of highlights. (Never done this before ... at least not in 6 years and I do not remember much.), I think, to perhaps a dark rich Lowlights warm red and maybe a light shade for your honey highlights. Dimensions - this bad image do you think? What colors do you think seems the good old dark brown (chocolate) hair?

Yeah, do not get highlights. I never liked it guys because it watch them as they try too hard. I guess still spend two hours in front of the mirror to prepare. I say only do it if it is completely natural and no visible scratches. edit: If you're gay, then do not hesitate.
