I really like the details that Lady Luck has given its chief recipe chocolate cake dense mud?

As the lady previous I also do a wedding cake for this November and the lowest floor is to be a dense Chocolate Mud Cake, upstairs fruit. The Chef's recipe that gave the Lady luck seems perfect, but please could someone have details as method I never done before fruitcakes. I would also like to know how long this cake will keep as I've been asked to marzipan and fondant on two levels.

Here is my recipe that will last for a week, as prepared. CHOCOLATE MUD CAKE Cake: 1 c. butter softened 2 c. granulated sugar 4 eggs, at room temperature. 1 tsp Tea. vanilla 1 1 / 2 c. flour 1 / 3 c. Unsweetened cocoa ICING: 1 / 3 c. 3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder sugar powder 1 / 2 tsp butter, melted 4-5 v. soup. milk 1 / 2 tsp chopped pecans Spray 13x9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray and set aside. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar on high until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Incorporate vanilla. In a medium bowl, mix the flour and cocoa, fold in butter. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees until the toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly. For filling, in a medium bowl, combine cocoa and powdered sugar. Stir in butter and enough milk to make a thick glaze. Spread on warm cake. (The heat from the cake melt the glaze slightly). Sprinkle with walnuts pecans. Cool completely before cutting.
