How much would you pay for chocolate strawberries? Please help!?
I am president of the library club at my high school. We are just starting out as a club and we're trying to raise money by selling chocolate strawberries on Friday. We're going to make them tomorrow. We bought enough for about 80 strawberries and we may buy more... The materials for 80 cost about $17 and so if we sold them for 2 for 75 cents, we'd only make about $25. What do you suggest?
If your strawberries are just random grocery store strawberries, then it's 75 cents *each*, not 75 cents for two. If your strawberries are big and pretty, then they should be a dollar a piece. People will pay that. If you learn to make tuxedo strawberries, people will pay 1.25 or 1.50 or more depending on how affluent your area is, because tuxedo strawberries are the cutest things in the world. Edit: It occurs to me that I should mention what region of the US I live in. I'm in a medium city in Oregon. If you live somewhere like Michigan's Upper Peninsula where prices and wages are much lower, you'll have to scale the cost down.
