What gift is more appropriate for my boss (male bosses employed)?
My friend is leaving the job he had for the last 5 years, since he found a better concert. It was the only employee who reported to her supervisor (a woman, older and married) and they have developed a friendly relationship very casual work, never hostility, etc. So, when he broke the news, she became very sad and kept thinking it was a bad boss, who made him want to leave. So he wants to send a gift of any kind to arrive on the first Monday morning when there is no longer there. But we wonder, what gift is most appropriate? 1) Edible Arrangements bouquet 2) Flowers 3) gift basket with either chocolate / wine / etc? Thank you:)
What he considers appropriate. If it is not no wine drinker. If is allergic to pollen, avoid the bouquet. If she is overweight, avoid chocolate. If your friend does not have information on his preferences, play security that the other poster said and go with a basket of edible goodies: D I think it depends more on the provision that the real gift, as if she was considered inappropriate or not.
