What is authentic Hersey chocolate flavored syrup?

I was skipping all the way back from the grocery store knowing I'll be drinking real chocolate Hersey tonight. I was a little surprised after reading the label a little more care at home, that the content is the true flavor of chocolate syrup. What a true chocolate flavored syrup? How is it different from a genuine chocolate syrup? Something can be true if it does taste of something, but not the real thing? Webster definition of real: .. it must be like maple syrup-flavored sauce vs. Maple, right? must say that is not made of chocolate, but tastes just like him. I guess that would be pure chocolate syrup and melted chocolate Hershey is just a syrup
