Allrecipes Chocolate Crinkles

What have I done wrong? pastries, chocolate crinkles.
This recipe for chocolate crinkles should be moist and soft, but when I tried to do so, he ended up hard as a cookie (but not as hard as a stone, as a witness, outside of hard, but kind of soft on the inside ..) Have you used baking powder and not baking soda? Sometimes this can be the problem and most recipes work better with eggs instead of large, medium. Was your oven temperature too high? As can be outside of the baked cookies faster than the inside and that is why the outside was hard and the inside was not really cooked through? I'm just guessing about this, but just review the recipe and perhaps try again. Good luck to you!
