Advent Chocolates

Scoop the hot chocolate
What's better than eating chocolate - that delicious, creamy, who loved the world? Drinking chocolate of course! Nothing ends a cold winter day like a cup of hot chocolate. So revered is hot chocolate that is now part of our holiday traditions - starring in the ice skating outings, sledding, and holiday decorations. As if the chocolate is not luxurious enough - you can enjoy it completely melted and drinking. Could there be anything more decadent?
The truth is that the advent of hot chocolate actually preceded the chocolate in solid. The ancient Mayans and Aztecs of South and Central America has discovered the glorious properties of chocolate contained in the seeds of the cacao tree. These early experiments with cocoa beans found these ancient peoples combining the seeds with combinations of spices and drink. This substance, liquid chocolate has been revered by the population and was used in all sorts of social functions of religion.
When the Spaniards Mexico won in the early 1500s, the conquistadors were introduced to this exotic drink. They have become so accustomed to what they have made of cocoa beans with them on their return and began to have the product shipped to Spain. Because the import price of seeds Cocoa was so high, the hot chocolate was reserved exclusively for the rich.
The Spanish liked chocolate as a drink for nearly hundred years before its existence became known in the rest of Europe, the Europeans soon adopted as his own chocolate collective, adding sugar to soften the mixture and serve it hot, it was served cold so far.
The word "hot" was added term hot chocolate when people started enjoying the chocolate in solid form. This was a way to differentiate the bar of chocolate from the chocolate drink.
As mass production took hold, more and more could enjoy the hot chocolate that prices have fallen. In the mid-1920s, a mixture of powder been invented that would allow consumers to simply add the hot milk or water to make their own hot chocolate. Many of us have the drink this way today.
